I’d like to point out that the issue with the Toyota Prius doesn’t mean toyota is unreliable. The pedal in the Toyota Prius is american made. I know how news agencies spent many hours covering the accidents caused by the faulty pedal. One thing they didn’t spend much time on is the newscast I witnessed where american cars are also being recalled for having the same american made pedal and the same acceleration problem.
