@MHUnited1 They program the robot to memorize the whole lyrics of the song…its just showing how accurate the robot was playing the music…it was not ment to tell them that they can create music, i still consider these an advancement since you can use these for people who would like to listen to some classic music at home or at hospital repeatedly since the robot doesnt require rest at all just power.
This to me looks just like a replay of mocap. I mean to play the violin you would need ears to hear your own sound then make creative thought and judgmental discretion. Not an advancement at all if that is the case.
@bweazel No, there’s a humanization of robots and dehumanization of humans going on. Just look at all the music videos from today’s pop artist, you’ll figure out what i’m saying. We don’t need Robots, we need more REAL humans.
“robots can be thrown in a metal junkyard for all i care.” LOL. Jealous of a robot? Pathetic. Envious of something that doesn’t even have a consciousness (yet). You must not like yourself very much if you are hating on robots. That, or you have zero skills to be proud of.
Just so you know, this is not AI, this hunk of metal and joints and wire did not learn how to play violin on its own. A human programmed it to do so. Perhaps you should learn some programming? Or I dunno, pick up a violin.
The chemicals I’m talking about do not come from the soul (which you cannot prove exists anyways), they come from the things around you that you eat, breath in, process in your body. They come from stars, supernovae and black holes (if they even exist).
I’m dehumanizing humans? Haha, not at all, I do believe what you’re doing though is trying to make humans comparable to god, which we are not. Stop giving us more credit than we deserve, we’re biological computers that evolved over time.
, omg… i’m speechless in one minute… gosh… i just can’t believe it… i really love violin and i… i’m just speechless… can i know what song did that robot play…?

Don’t really need a robot in order to play music tracks repeatedly.
A phone can do that.

@coolhca Your correct…robots can only memorize the song but it cant create new song.
@ekoh8873 It cant be an mp3 player since it can only play one instrument at a time.
Right, so the idea is to geta robot to play music in a hospital… Hmm.
Isnt’t that called an MP3 player?
@wolfsvillewarrior its called “land of hope and glory”
Music can never be performed by robots… it needs a soul…
@HaibaraAi91169 haha lol =]
