The new car, now dubbed the 370Z, looks immediately familiar yet distinctly different at the same time. Voluptuous curves, fishhook-like head and tail lights and a roof line reminiscent of Nissan’s GT-R super car impart the new Z with a daring and modern appearance. Powering the 370Z is a 332-horsepower V6 which should, thanks to a chassis that’s 225-pounds lighter than the previous model, have no problem delivering brisk acceleration. Other cool details to look for when the 370Z hits the streets in January of 09 are the optional seven-speed automatic transmission, an automatic rev-matching feature for the manual transmission and a starting price around 000.
