These cables don’t fit my 2007 ford f150 pickup. Neither cable is even close to the proper dimensions to fit either the existing antenna cable or the jack on the back of the radio. Either the cable is marketed or packaged incorrectly or there is a newer updated version of the cable to fit brand new model year fords. Guess I’ll have to look elsewhere for the proper fit since it will cost me as much as I spent on the set to ship it back.
Actually, as it turns out after I found an adapter that fit, the factory radio and antenna in my 2007 ford f150 pick up have what most manufacturers are marketing as a Chrysler antenna cable connection. Go figure.

This product worked perfectly in my dash. I bought it to install a new cd player in my 1996 Taurus wagon. I’m very please on how easy it was to install and the cabling/wire harness I needed was included in the kit.

This plate looks much nicer than other brands I have seen. Do not count of the wiring information provided in the kit. Contact your stereo manufacturer or use common sense, because the pin assignments in the instructins were wrong. I had to wire my speakers twice because the instructions that came with the kit were not accurate.
Over all I would recommend the kit because it looks and fits very well in the car.

This is just an okay unit. Switches did not transfer perfectly–had to slightly modify fan switch to get it to fit this Scosche unit. The electrical crimped connections were rather poor also–one had come undone already. So I ended up cutting off the crimped connections and soldering all the splices to make sure there would be no connectivity issues. Also, the trim piece (the square piece) did not fit the radio I had bought–wish they would offer more pieces/options to fit a wider range of radios. However, it ended up looking okay. Fyi, I installed this on a 99 Ford Taurus with manual knobs. I recommend buying the din radio removal tools–made it very easy. And just so you know, to do the wiring correctly (since you have plug in the wire harness back at the rcu unit connection in the trunk, it is necessary to remove the back seat and the trim along the left front and rear sides to route it out of the way and hidden, so it’s not just an easy r&r job unfortunately.

I followed all of the questions but the product does not fit my radio. The cost of the part was not too high but included with the shipping it was a total waste. I’ll probably never purchase an electronic part from amazon again.

My title says it all. A great feature on here are the pre-stripped ends on the wire, simply pull off the covers to expose the wires, solder or punch them together with your new stereo harness connect and enjoy. Such a great value for the price. I paid .29 for mine. Harnesses generally sell for + so these are excellent.

The wire harness saved me. When I took the original Toyota radio out of the car and saw the connecting harness, none of the wire colors matched. I was expecting that a few of them — namely the power and antenna wire colors would be standardized, but none of them matched the wire colors on the new radio. Without the wire harness, it would have taken me much longer and been much more frustrating to install the new radio. The mating connectors fit perfectly and everything was quick and easy!
