The Suzuki XA Alpha is the successor to the popular Suzuki Jimny SUV. Maruti has not had a small SUV in India since he Gypsy, and we believe the XA Alpha will be very popular when it is launched in India. K series petrol and 1.3 Multijet diesel engines are likely to power it. Prices of the XA could be around Rs 5-7 lakh.

Nissan Juke-R vs GT-R track test – Auto Express

We pit the new Nissan Juke-R against the GT-R to find out which is quickest around Bedford Autodrome… Full story here: www.autoexpress.co.uk So how did the Juke-R and GT-R compare on a lap of the south circuit at Bedford Autodrome? The supercar went first, when the track was still slightly damp, but the low-down thrust of its engine came to the fore as it recorded a time of 65.8 seconds. By the time the Juke-R went against the stopwatch, the track had dried out a bit. The less aerodynamic shape held the car back over the circuit’s long straights, and it took 1.3 seconds longer, with a time of 67.1 seconds — a sterling effort considering its less powerful engine and additional weight.

2013 Ford Fusion Complete Info and Photos Released! – Auto and Tech News

Video showing information and high resolution images of the all-new 2013 Ford Fusion. It will be available in S, SE, and Titanium trims and will be full of technology. Myfordtouch infotainment system will be available as well as driver aids such as adaptive cruise control, a lane keeping system with drowsy driving detection, blind spot monitoring, hill start assist, and active park assist. There will be three powertrain options. A 2.5L inline-4 170 hp 170 tq with a 6 speed auto, a 1.6L ecoboost 4 cylinder 179 hp 172 tq with a 6 speed auto or 6 speed manual, and a 2.0L ecoboost 4 cylinder 237 hp 250 tq with a 6 speed auto. Front wheel drive is standard but the Fusions with the 2.0 ecoboost can be had with all wheel drive. It’s expected to have best in class fuel economy with the 1.6L ecoboost expected to achieve 26 mpg city and 37 mpg highway while the 2.0L ecoboost should net around 23 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. For more fuel economy Ford is offering a Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi. The Fusion Hybrid’s total output is around 185hp and 130tq delivered through a cvt transmission and is expected to achieve 47mpg city and 44mpg highway, easily besting the Toyota Camry Hybrid and Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and getting close to Prius numbers. Ford says the Fusion Hybrid will be able to operate at up to 62mph without even having spin the engine. The Fusion Energi has the same core powerplant as the hybrid but with a plug-in hybrid system.
