NISSAN xtrail

Ahead of the 40th Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan unveiled its electric-powered Pivo 2 concept car. Designed for urban use, the Pivo 2 features a 360-degree revolving cabin, inherited from the first-generation Pivo, allowing the driver to always face forward while driving, even when parallel parking, and to access the unique front door from any direction. The three-seat car is equipped with safety systems such as Around View Monitor (AVM), Distance Control Assist System (DCAS) and also a Robotic Agent that uses facial monitoring technology to interact with the driver.

Put a turbo on your x-trail, and make 210awkw, then come back and tell me that an x-trail is a capable car :) I looooove mine! $10K down! haha

I bought my first X-trail 6 yrs ago and I keep it for 4 yrs and replace with Jeep wrangler with a regret, now back to X-trail again with new generation diesel engine. Although xtrail is not perfect but it is the most capable SUV in its class. the SUV that you can rely on in any terrain, city, mountain or beach, even you move house, extrail can howl everything.

Naw mang, forget the plastics. I was saying that the styling is a conglomerate of sad designs from other auto makers. On a personal note, I think favorably of very few American vehicles. It’s a shame that this countries domestic auto manufactures spew such crap from their assembly lines each year. My POV is that if it doesn’t need a snorkel for where it’s going and it’s running on tires from a Honda Accord than it’s worthless and the Honda Accord itself would be a better choice.

@06sterling What were you expecting? A boring designed SUV with cheap plastics interior and a totally inefficient V6 or V8 engine like a Dodge Nitro?? C’mon dude!, there is a world outside US you should look at. This car is way better than many American MidSize SUVs

Nissan Pivo sucks, Nissan Leaf may be better because it looks more like an ordinary European car.

@abbeydabbydooo Theorecitally, but I think it’s only active at slow speeds, and is designed to help calm road rage for example.

@ForsTrucks555 Yes, but it’s designed for use in big cities where traffic won’t be moving quickly, like New York, Tokyo, London etc.

I just notice something. When you drive, don’t you get distracted talking to a robot head and get in an accident?

Cute concept, but that robot would get so annoying. I could just imagine some angry driver screaming at it in traffic to stfu. I also don’t think there would be a very large market for this outside of Japan. Also does anyone else think it would be creepy to have a robot head with big staring eyes (2:06) scanning your facial expression while you drive?

In my family, we have Nissan cars. And the fact this car can do parallel park is awesome. But there are some disadvantages :
    - How fast is it ? It look SLOWLY slow
    - Are you gonna look intelligent in this car ?
    - You’re gonna look intelligent when you’re gonna talk to a robot head…
