Mustang is fucking old ! everyone has one
They have the same top speed (205 mph) but the ZR1 beats it in the handling tests and accelerating to 60 (3.3 seconds vs 3.5). It also goes around tracks faster. The fastest 1/4 mile I found for both cars was 11.2 seconds. I don’t know where you got your numbers but they are not for a stock GT. Maybe a GTX1…
BTW, the Saleen S7 is American and way faster than the Ford GT. Tops out at 240 mph.

true. as far as factory comparisons go, Ford has nothing out nor has ever had anything out that compares to the ZR1. It’s a beast. If you cast the factory part aside, I think they’d be pretty even. I’d love to see a comparison done by someone, but it’ll never happen.
I have to agree with you about the Mustang. I prefer the Stang because the GT handles better and weighs less than the SS and is only slower in a straight line by a bit.
Corvette owns the GT though. That GTX1 is not a fair comparison to a ZR1 because it is not from the factory. Try a Lingenfelter, which will kill it.
My favorite is the Challenger. Neither the mustang or the camaro have the aggressive look that the challenger does. All three great cars, but what an idiot this reviewer is! The Challenger has the least body roll of the three. My 05 Corvette actually had more body roll than the Challenger! The Challenger is REALLY stable.

That’s a 2009 Challenger, 2010′s are not available in Hemi orange. I’d like the detonator yellow (wish it was top banana) with black rallye stripes down the sides. yessssss.
