It’s been months since we had this much fun in a car…as Ford proudly says, the Focus RS is a cure for the crisis….that may seem a bit much but it just might be true!

In fact, on the INTA circuit the Renault Megane RS is pretty much faster.

@tigercrap No offence intended, but the Mazda looks awful. It looks ordinary and has no road presence whatsoever. Also doesn’t handle the bends anywhere near as well as the Focus RS………..

the focus rs gives out the most amount of fun and practicality for the least amount of money in the market. yeah the mazdaspeed 3 is a good car, but the body of car, meaning the exterior is so thin. my friend has mazda3 hatchback, and the metal they used is so thin, just try leaning on it and it will bend. and furthermore its about the driving experience, the focus RS handles like a beauty. and the mazda is all over the place.

I highly doubt that a $36,000 focus will be a sales hit in the US, regardless of how much horsepower it has.

No you didnt, I did! Sales flop, they couldnt sell their euro cars here. They tried? Maybe things have changed, but we wont know until they try again.

Then why didnt you buy when you had the chance? Contour/Mondeo was a sales flop? Dont know how old you are but the was the sierras/Merkerus they were a sales flop. I agree the products Ford Europe has are better, but in many ways they dont sale. Cost is a huge factor. This as someone pointed out is 30K euros??? 25K pounds… Thats fifty K plus for a focus. I know it would be sold cheaper here, but its still a lot.
