The price is right. Just make sure there is no resistance when opening the gate. I lubed the crap out of the inners and had to adjust the brackets on the side. Now it opens like a dream. Too bad Ford didn’t have it adjusted so well. This is my third one because I didn’t realize how fragile my truck was. Fits and works fine. It is not the same as the OEM on a 2000 Ranger. It is a little different, and a little larger than the original, but it works.
