So, you’re saying the Corvette beat the GTR because it’s lighter and more powerful? DUH! If they wanted the GTR to be faster, they shouldn’t have designed a 4500 pound egg-shaped monstrosity. Their fault.

OMG what an achivement” 6L two seater beat 4 seat 3.8L heavier GTR by 2 or 1 second; well thats impressive, it really is. But if u give the same HP to GTR it would smoke ur plastic vette

“The car is loaded with new technology”.. Actually, magneto-rheological shocks were first used on the 2003 model of the car that every Euro/Jap fan loves to scoff at, the Corvette. Just speaking of “eeeen321″ down there, the GTR HAS been beaten around the ring. By a Corvette. Can’t we all just agree that any car, as long as its fast(except the GTR), is bitchin’? Just wait till Ferrari gets their 458, or their Enzo replacement out there.

You people make me sick with your GTR shit, the car is probably one of the ugliest things ever made and it does not even touch the Scuderia in performance or looks. I gag at the thought of a Japanese product being considered a sports car. I will buy American or European 1000 times before I buy one those over rated overpriced rice burner peices of shit.

the GTR may beat the ferrari..but you would look cheap in one of those japanese overengineered machines..well even if the ferrari’s a little slow than the GTR at least people know you’re F***IN damn rich.

What if Ferrari, Porsche, Pagani and Lamborghini spent as much time/$ as Nissan, Chevy and Dodge do at SPECIFICALLY attempting to set a record lap at the Ring on a clear track.

companies like that are not as concerned with a Ring’ time as Nissan, Chevy and Dodge…..yet.
they will be since Nissan, Chevy and Dodge has taken such an interest in claiming Ring times.

No production car has been flogged around the Ring like the GTR has been over the last few years… give it time and it will fall.

sw1000xg i’d like to know what planet you can get a brand new GTR for 60 grand. For one thing they start at around 76k sticker in the states, 85k in canada, you’re still gonna probably pay anywhere from 5-10k over sticker for oneand a f430scud is closer to 180k, not 130.

    I prefer the Scuderia, or even a Lotus Elise, gt-r sucks… it’s too heavy, front mounted engine… and it’s a nissan…

Yeah their are also numorous times where the GTR almost touches 8 minutes. There are atleast 5 different times for the GTR. Only one for the Scurderia. The Scuderia beat the Enzo on Mugullo, the Ferrari test track. With some more runs it will be right up there with the GTR. The Lp560 will beat the GTR to. They have yet to get a real run in with that also. Also Ferrari isn’t all about performance. The Nissan is, at the end of the day you’re still driving a boring Nissan. Ferrari>Nissan

GTR 7:26.7 FACT! Scud 7:38 FACT Top Gear 1:19.7 so how does it beat it? GTR is a real car you can have friends in with a pumping sound system the Scud is a racing car and double the price and can bearly out do the GTR in the 0-60, faster than an ENZO hahahahah not on the Nurb or top gear tracks yet again another Ferrari sado thinking a car costing 130K is better than the GTR costing 60K your not a car fan your pathetic Ferrais suck bad hence the 14K brakes on the HGTE GTR already soted that out!

There are plenty of different numbers on the website, it all depends on driver, conditons, etc, etc. There are times for the GTR that are as slow as 7:55, and as quick as 7:28. There are 5 or more GTR tests and there is only one Scuderia test done by an unreliable source. Its faster than the Enzo.
