FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS VISIT: www.kbb.com Building toward an October introduction in Germany, Audi pulled the wraps off its new A6 and RS6 luxury sedans at the Moscow International Automobile Salon. In the Germanic tradition the design changes are subtle yet substantial — Audi has given its signature trapezoidal grille a facelift, revamped running lights and installed a headlight system that now turns into corners. The new A6 is essentially the same size as the previous edition, but the styling tweaks are accompanied by a baffling array of new engines – six gasoline and four diesels. That total will be markedly lower when the A6 reaches America, but fuel economy should be improved thanks to lighter-weight components. Safety is upgraded with Audi Side Assist that conveys a warning if a lane-change might cause a crash and adaptive cruise control that helps the vehicle maintain its interval in traffic. While the A6 offered new bling like an aluminum-colored molding on its flanks and an integrated chrome strip on the bumper, we were drawn to the less ostentatious RS 6, which features a twin-turbo V10 delivering 580 horsepower.
